Hi all. Our 2005 Altima is doing excellent other than 1 thing that I found yesterday while installing new tires.
The right front floor has a section that is completely rotted out. It is the only bad spot on the car. It is right where your right foot would go if you were sitting in the front passenger seat.
under the carpet there is a section secured to the floor and everywhere under this section is gone. If that part was not there there would be a 4"-8" hole through the floor. I am quite surprised at this problem. I found no leaks or water inside. The whole bottom of the car is still like new and undercoated,
Before I started to mess with this area you could see where it all looked cracked from underneath.
Is this something common to the Altima, I am afraid of how much it is going to be to fix it, if it can be fixed.
Thanks
