P0600 ECM receives incorrect voltage from A/T control unit continuously

Yes this code can cause this condition or at least contribute to the condition that you have, Try this disconnect the ECM (with the battery disconnected) and reconnect, same with the TCM if there is high corrosion simple disconnect and reconnect would help to eliminate any corrosion at the connection

Hi there,

This code is usually the result of a bad crank position sensor. It can also be caused by a bad connection on the command line between the ecm and the tcm.

Ignition coil misfire

Hello,
I have a 2005 Pathfinder. Check Engine light came on two days ago and I took it to a mechanic. Plugged in scanner and it said Camshaft sensor needed to be changed. We got both changed to new ones and then it was fine. They the next day light came back on and this time it was the ignition coil (2) so we replaced it and then driving home from the shop the light came back on and so I stopped at an Auto Zone and had them check the light. Said same thing about the same ignition coil. Told the guy we had just changed it but my mechanic was closed for the day so I stopped there to see what it was. The guy at Auto Zone said I needed to just drive it some more to give it time to reset?! Is that correct? Or should I take it back to my mechanic on Monday? Thanks in advance.

ECM problems 2000, Altima, GXE sedan

Hi everyone! I am a newbee to your forum. Recently I picked up a very nice 2000 Altima sedan. I noticed the following items not working: Interior lights, rear window defogger and power door locks. I have traced the problem to the entry control module. I bought a used part and will install it ASAP. My question is will the car start before I get the ECM flashed? I understand the ignition key is coded to only work with the original ECM?? If thats the case I would have to take the car to the dealership to install and program the ECM. :fear:Of course I would rather not take the car to the dealership if I can sort thing out myself. Any technical support or comments would be greatly appreciated!

Nissan x-trail NT 32 engine is not starting

I bought a Nissan x-trail from japanesevehicle.com trust company in Japan. It reached me on 6th February, 2016. I drove about 200kilomiter then the vehicle stopped I tried to re start but failed and finally I managed to pull it using another vehicle to my garage where it is packed. There is a message between a tachometer and speedometer displayed " Chassis control system error see owner's manual". I called a technician to investigate and he revealed the following faults from diagnostic trouble code: U1000 CAN COMM CIRCUIT, C1199 BRAKE BOOSTER, C1130 ENGINE SIGNAL 1. My question is which spare parts are needed and at what cost?

2006 High oil consumption

$

Hello and thank you for taking the time.

I have a 2006 patherfinder LE with 118,000 miles. I have been always regular on the oil changes, using mobile 1 5w-30. Recently I had the driver side pre-cat break apart and completely clog the secondary cat. After spending 2k on new cats, I did a routine maintenance, ie. spark plugs, air filter, oil change and changed out some old vacuum lines and added some lucas fuel injector cleaner. Anyway, I have probably put 60 miles on it and then started noticing smoke from the exhaust. I figured it was just the fuel injector cleaner burning of carbon deposits. kept watching and it kept getting worse. watched the oil pressure gauge and saw the pressure dipping. checked the dipstick and found it low. added more oil and the smoke keeps gettings worse. I pulled the intake plenuim and saw oil getting into the intake. changed the pcv and the problem still continues. long story long, Im wondering if the plugged cat could have done some internal damage to the rings or valve seals, or is it possible that my oil return holes in the head could be plugged keeping the oil from draining back into the sump?

Thank you for your time.

2011 Altima ... Water won't drain from door.

Sometimes after it rains or I wash the car, water gets in the door and won't drain on its own. It's usually one of the back doors and on rare occasions a front door. You can hear it sloshing around in there as you drive.
It appears that the black rubber strip at the bottom of the door is blocking the drain holes. If I open the door and pull the rubber away from the drain holes, the water gushes out and drains the door.
The really strange thing is that the door doesn't always accumulate water after a rain.
Is it possible that the power window is not cranking to the full up position? Would that matter anyway?
No water gets inside the car but only in the door.
Anyone ever experience this? I have searched the internet and it seems I am the only one with this problem.
I would appreciate any thoughts or suggestions.

Hello 2004 Nissan Pathfinder failed to accelerate, on a green light, engine codes were P2122, P2138, V1001. Towed it to the mechanic. By the time the tow truck arrived the car was running. The mechanic checking everything after several test drives, released it. He didn't want to change any parts because it was running normally. Any ideas? Please help.

P2122 APP sensor

P2138 APP sensor

You can do a first step procedure which is to check and inspect its ground and power connection other than that you have 2 code that reinforce each other that the APP sensor set the code condition,

1995 Pathfinder transmission question

I dropped the trans pan to replace the detent spring and I just loosened the valve body. I did not remove the valve body at all in fact it didn't break free or anything. Now the truck will not go into reverse it just has forward gears. Clearly something shifted when I tightened the valve body back up, I didn't torque it to specs I just did it by feel. What would cause this? Over tightening? Maybe I shifted one of the solenoids?? Any help would be appreciated.

Fuel gauge springs up to and stays at 3/4 full

Hi ... just wondering about repairs to a faulty instrument cluster panel on a '04 Pathfinder. I had sent it out for repairs at ~~$200. Returned to me via snail mail and installed. Tested and showed minimal gas. So, I went and put ~~23 liters in. Showed 3/8's of a tank. Parked it over night. Started it up today - springs back up to 3/4's. I am reluctant to send it back due to the timelines and costs in shipping to the USA (i am in Canada!). Any helpful how to's would be great. Not sure if the posts on 4x4parts.com are where I should be looking. My fuel sending sensor INSIDE the fuel tank was replaced and tested by Nissan Techs. Issue is the cluster. How many IC's do I need? Is it strictly on the fuel gauge where I need to resolder new ICs?
