I recently purchased a 2012 Versa HB S with Power Locks but did not come with a key fob for remote entry.:frusty: I checked behind the glove box and found that it does have the keyless receiver. The FCC id number is CWTWC1U241 if that helps any. I have also tried to put the car into program mode following instructions found on-line. I can never get the flashers to flash, indicating it is ready to program the key fob. My question is why? Do I have to take it to the dealer to have the computer flashed to allow for keyless entry? "I wonder what that costs. If so then that sucks:bomb:.Reading posts on other forums, others with older model Versa, and different FCC id numbers on their receivers, only bought key fobs and programmed them to the car like I am trying to do. Did Nissan change something on the newer models to prevent this? I know the packages offered have changed over the years "S & SL". Any input would be appreciated...
