I have a 2000 Nissan altima gxe. I also noticed that the belt that goes around the air conditioning compressor and idler pulley is missing. The heat and everything else on the car works. Did they remove the belt because the compressor is not working? I checked for codes and there is no codes at all. Is that because the a/c is not considered an emission issue? Im just really concerned about the missing belt!
