Hello All!
My Pathy is a 2002 and almost has 118k miles. I know the transmission (automatic) fluid was changed at 66k and I want to say it was done earlier also but for some reason, I can't confirm.
While getting brakes & new tires (ouch) it was mentioned that my transmission fluid was a little dirty and needs to be changed. I want to do it but I have heard other people say if you have done it once or twice, don't do it over 100k because after the loss of the "grittiness" of the old fluid, the transmission will begin to slip.
So, what do you Pathfinder wizards think? She is still in good shape with a new Bluetooth stereo and I just repaired my headlight lenses and she looks new and I want to keep her that way!!
