Hey guys I'm hoping I can get some help here.
1st off the car is an 09 4dr sedan, w/auto (non cvt)
So, it came to me as a no start. The IPDM has already been replaced once and the customer said he thought it was the same thing again. So I checked the ecm relay in the IPDM and had no fuel pump activation.
So, being the retard I am. I pull the relay and try to jump it and send 12volts back to the pump to see if it is working. Number 1 problem, I touch off the wrong terminal and I'm quite sure I "spiked" the ECM and now it is fried.
This because now the car wont even turn over at all. I have power to the car in general, but ZERO crank. All dash lights come on, and the data port is also dead. No power at all/ scanner doesnt power up at all.
So my multiple questions are, am I on track the ECM is fried? and/if so, any good suggestions on finding a sorce for the best price for a replacement. I ran a search for the one that is in the car and the part # on the ECM matches NOTHING out there. Pre - Fix or suffix>>>?
Any help is helping me simplify this mess would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx...RT
