I have a 2001 Frontier and im looking to upgrade the dash lights to a brighter LED, including the climate control panel. The current bulbs are so dim its sometimes difficult to see even at night. I also need a new blub for my floor shifter too. I am trying to figure out what socket type is needed for these bulbs. I have heard on other forums of possible different types of plugs for both panels. I heard about a series 74 style plug for the instrument cluster and some kind of twisting locking socket type for the climate control panel. I have not been able to confirm the types anywhere. I'd like to be able to find out what they are without ripping apart my dash first then having to do it again to install them. I found numerous types of blubs that may work on superbrightLEDs.com but I am trying to confirm what type I need. Can anyone help me find a source that can confirm what is needed?
