2001 Altima Alarm will not turn off

Hello,

Last Thursday I started noticing my car alarm going off on its own. At first I thought it may be the remote and luckily I have two so i put away my first remote and started using my backup (initial one is out of range in house). This seemed to help a bit, however last night when I got home from work my car alarm started going off again in my garage and would not stop until I disconnected the battery.

As a temporary fix i took out the fuse for both the horn and Anti theft 2 from the relay box under the hood but now my overhead lamp does not work.

I tried researching online and attempted to disconnect, then reconnect the battery and that did not work. I then tried to one by one open each door, hold down the sensor and using my key fob disable the alarm and was only successfully able to keep it off after testing the passenger front door.

Has anyone else experienced something similar and is it possible my door jamb switch needs to be replaced which would fix this?

Any insight would be great to stop this headache. Thanks!
