So I have a 03 Altima 3.5L and having an issue with the A/C compressor.
With the engine on, I turn on the AC and I could hear and see the compressor clutch engaging and turning. In like 2 seconds it then stops turning.
I don't know, what I'm thinking is maybe the compressor is bad and causing a lot of resistance when turned so the PCM (engine computer) senses the engine stalling so it cuts off the AC RELAY clutch.
If I turn on the car and AC on and apply 12V directly to the magnetic clutch, the engine will stall.
