Cranks but won't run ugh

Hey guys,

I have a 2004 frontier 3.3 V6. My daughter was driving it one night and hit a small bump and it shut down with all the lights flashing on on the dash.

I have checked the timing belt (not broken) replaced the battery. It is also getting spark and fuel. It blows the P0340 code for the camshaft position sensor bank 1.

I am about to replace that sensor but before I do I just wanna see if that could be the cause of it not running or a symptom of something a little more difficult.

Opinions please....
