2003 xterra 3.3 v6.have coolant leak dripping from bottom bolt of timing cover so i suspect water pump since i've already done this 2 years ago.so i start tearing down the top of pump has signs of something has been leaking and some corrosion.well too late to pressure test the system so i was thinkn about reinstalling thermostat housing and taking bycycle innertube cut in half hook between two water housings and pump air into that to find leak.how much air pressure should i pump into tube.i dont wanna blow all the gaskets out.any suggestions appreciated.
