I have a 2000 frontier. The MIL code is p1446. I have changed the vent valve, canister and fuel cap. still won't clear. I have sent it to two different shops and they have performed smoke test and cant find any leak. After driving, if I stop to refuel, there seams to be a vacuum on the tank. If I clear the code, it will come back on after driving about 13 miles. The shops tell me that they can stroke the valve from a scan tool, and I can stroke the old one from the bench with a 12 volt source. Any ideas, I'm about $400 in the hole chasing the problem?
